
Sophia Lowe-Hines
Sophia Lowe-Hines is a second-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at UMass Amherst. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle. After completing her undergraduate degree, she spent two years as a Research Assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Washington and its affiliated hospitals. There, she worked with intracranial electroencephalography (iEEG) to explore basic neuroscience questions and develop tools for clinical and rehabilitative applications. In the Learning Lab, her research examines neuropsychological and neurophysiological factors in pediatric traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their interaction with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, pilates, running, and cooking!
